Position Overview

Commercial Tire Technician (Tire Installation, Maintenance & Sales)

The role of a Commercial Tire Technician encompasses the sales, servicing, and upkeep of commercial tires and wheels. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels.
  • Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires.
  • Attaching and rebalancing wheels.
  • Installing, rebuilding, and/or calibrating Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS).
  • Cleaning tires and wheels.
  • Testing and installing batteries.
  • Utilizing and maintaining service equipment.
  • Assisting fellow team members.
  • Conducting test drives of vehicles.
  • Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road assistance.

This position also involves delivering outstanding customer service and promoting store sales by utilizing the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers effectively.

Experience Requirements:

Les Schwab provides opportunities for various skill levels, complemented by on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid driver's license; demonstrate excellent customer service abilities; capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment; able to frequently lift weights ranging from 35-75 pounds; and comfortable with frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay is $23.75. For full-time positions, upon meeting eligibility criteria, benefits include:
