We are seeking a Housekeeper to join our team at Friendship Richfield Independent Living in Salem, VA. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' homes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain facility and resident areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces
  • Wash and disinfect medical equipment and supplies
  • Prepare hampers daily for soiled linens and incontinent products
  • Assist with laundry and folding resident clothing
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to residents' needs promptly

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; housekeeping experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SDS manuals, infectious/biohazard waste and environmental protocols
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch throughout the day; frequently lift or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
