Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Certified

Columbia Valley Community Health (CVCH) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Certified to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our medical staff, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Certified will be responsible for providing comprehensive family medicine services to patients of CVCH. This includes providing routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed. You will also work closely with our medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and continuous primary care services to patients of CVCH.
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans that meet their unique needs.
  • Work collaboratively with our medical staff to diagnose and treat illnesses.
  • Order diagnostic tests as needed and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant - Certified (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
  • Valid license to practice as an ARNP with Evidence of Prescriptive Authority in the State of Washington or PA-C in Washington State or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or ATLS may be substituted for BLS.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a community health center or managed care environment preferred.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
