Job Title: CDL A Driver

Are you a skilled driver looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Do you have a valid Class A CDL and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? We're seeking a CDL A Driver to join our team at United Rentals

Job Summary:

We're looking for a reliable and safety-conscious CDL A Driver to transport equipment to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. As a CDL A Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering equipment to our customers, operating construction equipment, and adhering to all safety requirements. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver equipment to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Operate construction equipment, such as semi-trucks and trailers, consistent with DOT classification CDL-A
  • Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections
  • Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL with acceptable driving record
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience
  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
  • Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safe driving procedures
  • Diligent attention to safety
