About the Role:
Compass Oncology is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at the West Cancer Center in Tigard, OR. As a key member of our medical oncology team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with physicians.
- Initiate and document appropriate interventions, evaluate patient/family response, and prescribe drug therapies as needed.
- Assist physicians with procedures, conduct patient assessments, and provide education to patients and families.
- Promote wellness, recommend community resources, and provide staff education.
- Participate in evidence-based research and incorporate it into clinical practice.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement procedures.
Requirements:
- Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant, preferred.
- Previous experience in oncology preferred.
