Nursing Professional for Intermediate Care Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. As an Intermediate Care Unit RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
About the RoleThe Intermediate Care Unit RN is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient-centered care to individuals requiring intermediate-level medical attention. This includes assessing patient condition, performing procedures as ordered by medical providers, documenting patient information, and administering medications. A key aspect of this role is advocating for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care. Your strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be valuable assets to our team.
