Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Progressive Care team at Mercy Hospital Southeast. As a Cardiac Progressive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
Requirements
  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
  • One year of RN experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
