Role SummaryAs an Environmental Services Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing the operational functions of our support services department. Your leadership will ensure that frontline associates are effectively coordinated, and you will act as a vital link between administration and unit departments, striving to provide exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and regularly review operational standards and procedures for all staff.
- Plan staffing schedules and work areas to guarantee adequate service delivery.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing and training new team members.
- Orient, develop, and supervise all supervisory and housekeeping personnel.
- Conduct routine inspections and provide recommendations for facility improvements.
- Prepare monthly reports detailing goals, achievements, and future objectives.
- Facilitate staff education and ongoing training initiatives.
- Maintain communication with staff, administration, and other departments.
- Coordinate external services such as pest control, window cleaning, and waste management.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
- 1-3 years of management experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Capability to maintain organization in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
- Proficient in digital tools and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
