Novice Nurse

Job Summary:

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Novice Nurse to join our Home Health New Graduate Nursing Program. As a Novice Nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. Our program is designed to provide a supportive and educational environment for new graduates to develop their skills and confidence in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide and document skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with the clinical supervising team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as direct patient care, care management, and critical thinking.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, and participate in regular case conferences to review patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum GPA requirement (authorization from Area or Regional clinical leadership may be considered for applicants who do not meet the 3.0 GPA threshold).
• Current BLS certification.
• PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable).
• Successful completion of Maxim Homecare Novice Nurse Program orientation and training.
