**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cleaning Professional to join our team at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
**Responsibilities:**
- Vacuum and clean floors, including carpets, hardwood, and tile surfaces
- Strip and refinish floor surfaces as needed
- Dispose of refuse and trash from facilities in accordance with established sanitation procedures
- Clean floors and stairwells, including sweeping, dusting, and damp/wet mopping
- Wash windows as assigned
- Remove dirt, dust, grease, and film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions
- Clean air vents and other areas as needed
- Set up for special events and move furniture and fixtures as required
- Clean wheelchairs and other equipment as assigned
- Transport linen from all floors to laundry facilities
- Deliver chux and briefs to all floors
**Requirements:**
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
