Position Overview:
Franciscan Physician Network is in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified physician specializing in Palliative Care, ideally from an Internal or Family Medicine background. This role is essential in upholding our commitment to the Franciscan Value of Respect for Life and aligns with our mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will prioritize clinical excellence and demonstrate a commitment to compassionate patient care. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for fostering relationships within the community and collaborating effectively with colleagues. The physician will work alongside Advanced Practice Providers to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Work Environment:
- Flexible full-time schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts.
- Shared call responsibilities with minimal backup duties for Nurse Practitioners during nights and weekends.
- Very low call volume, averaging only one call per month.
- Opportunities for additional training, including immersive courses and continuing medical education in Palliative Care upon hiring.
- Certification in National Catholic Bioethics provided.
- Supportive team environment with access to onsite chaplains and social workers.

Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Medicine required.
- Physician License (MD/DO) required upon hiring.
