Job Summary

Murray's Cheese is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to support our Facilities and Warehouse teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with Department of Health standards in NYC.

  • Team Player: You are open to supporting colleagues in our facilities and warehouse, contributing to the betterment of the Company.

Responsibilities

  • Cleanliness: You will ensure the cleanliness of all areas, including freezers, refrigerators, offices, bathrooms, and floors.
  • Maintenance: You will regularly check equipment and perform light maintenance, resolving issues quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for up to 12 hours per day
  • Willingness to work in cold and damp conditions
  • Weekend, evening, and holiday availability
  • Experience with light maintenance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • NYC Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe Certification preferred
  • A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
