Position Overview:
This role involves performing various breast imaging techniques, including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound, while adhering to MQSA and ACR standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of breast anatomy and related medical conditions, ensuring safe radiation practices.
- Verify and assess patient requisitions for alignment with clinical diagnoses and demographic details.
- Maintain proficiency in operating mammography and stereotactic equipment, along with relevant examination protocols.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
- Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding breast imaging procedures, guiding them through their healthcare journey.
- Review and evaluate breast imaging examinations for technical precision, presenting findings to radiologists and sharing essential information with the care team.
- Schedule breast imaging appointments and assist in coordinating exams to enhance patient care quality.
- Support departmental workflow management to ensure timely completion of tasks and accurate patient billing.
- Organize and monitor medical supply inventory to promote cost-effective practices.
- Collaborate as a team member to contribute to departmental success and participate in educational initiatives promoting breast health.
- Mentor new employees and healthcare professionals, maintaining compliance with continuing education requirements.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred.
- Licenses: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Mammography (M) certification required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Technical Skills:
- Must possess or be able to acquire necessary computer skills for online training and administrative tasks within 90 days.
- Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and verbal communication.
