Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Community Health Network. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications and supplies to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately select medications for dispensing
  • Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion
  • Compound sterile products using aseptic technique
  • Maintain proficiency with current departmental system technologies
  • Perform basic compounding and calculations
  • Communicate and coordinate schedule availability with leadership and/or department scheduler
  • Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement
  • Perform Automated Dispensing Cabinet duties

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience education preferred
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) National Certification or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) (ExCPT)
  • One of the following is required Certifications/Licensures: Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), Licensed as a Pharmacy Intern by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
