This role offers the chance to work alongside a full complement of highly skilled surgical and medical specialists, including three medical oncologists on campus and a robust referral network of primary-care physicians. You will have the opportunity to excel in your career while contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on serving the needs of its growing community.
The radiation oncologist will be expected to employ various radiation modalities such as IMRT, SRS, SBRT, VMAT, and HDR brachytherapy while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage adult malignancies. There is also the option to work within an academic environment. Current equipment includes Varian TrueBeam linacs, CyberKnife, GE CT simulator with wide bore and 4D capability, Nucletron HDR remote afterloader, Eclipse, ARIA, and Epic EMR.
The physics team is highly experienced in brachytherapy planning. This position necessitates close collaboration with several active academic in-house gynecologic oncologists, with gynecologic brachytherapy device placement performed in the operating room alongside the gynecologic oncology team.
