Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Imaging Specialist to join our team at Magnet Medical in Memphis, Tennessee. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients.

About the Role

This is a travel position with a duration of 13 weeks, working 40 hours per week, and a shift of 10 hours, days. The estimated salary for this role is $$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort
  • Verifying patient information and positioning them properly on the CT table to obtain high-quality images
  • Operating and calibrating the CT scanner, administering contrast agents as required, and monitoring equipment during imaging
  • Reviewing CT images for quality and collaborating with radiologists to ensure that images meet diagnostic standards
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography (RT(R)(CT)
  • Experience working with CT scanners and radiation safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
