Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Assist in the coordination of various project phases, including RFQ/P coordination, developer on-boarding, compliance, and documentation.
  • Design Development: Develop, modify, and/or review drawings according to established standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality assurance for the documentation of all phases in compliance with established QA/QC and Best Practice Standards.
  • Design Intent: Understand and communicate design intent, product, and code research into technical documents.
  • Construction Administration: Provide construction administration services, overseeing project completion.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Maintain relationships with stakeholders, project management, design, and construction teams.
  • Marketing and Promotional Materials: Create graphics and research information for inclusion in marketing and promotional materials.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree(s) in architecture, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the practice of architecture, project management, construction, or a related field.
  • Location: Must be a resident of the State of Hawai'i.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills/proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of Sustainability Requirements, including USGBC/LEED standards.
  • Soft Skills: Strong knowledge of design principles, ability to interpret design concepts/layouts, knowledge of building regulations, life-safety codes, design techniques, tools, and design principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, strong creative and technical thinking skills, strong presentation and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work within budget/time constraints.
