Our innovative technology connects customers with community banks and credit unions, facilitating a swift and efficient refinancing process. On average, our clients save $115 each month on their auto loans, ensuring long-term protection of their investments.

Our leadership team comprises seasoned professionals from the technology, automotive, and finance sectors. We are proud to have the support of esteemed investors, including QED Investors, Goldman Sachs, Moderne Ventures, Accomplice, Link Ventures, and Motley Fool Ventures, among others.

About the Role

The Financial Strategy Associate will play a pivotal role within Caribou's Finance team, focusing on establishing comprehensive financial objectives that support strategic partnerships, investment ventures, new business initiatives, and prioritization across the enterprise. This position operates at the intersection of Finance, Strategy, and Operations, backed by a top-tier FP&A and Accounting team, as well as senior business leaders. • Work closely with the Accounting team to align with actual financial performance and identify emerging trends.
  • Assist in conducting ad-hoc analyses and preparing regular reporting materials for cross-functional teams and management presentations.
  • Support various investor relations, capital investment planning, and Board reporting requirements.
  • Analyze the complete financial implications across Caribou's profit and loss statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Continuously innovate and enhance analysis and reporting for key stakeholders within the company.
This role can be performed remotely from states where Caribou operates, with a preference for specific markets. Occasional in-person meetings may be required.

About You

  • A critical mindset with the ability to articulate insights around financial data and make informed, data-backed recommendations.
  • Experience with data visualization and financial reporting tools such as Looker, Datarails, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
  • A strong sense of ownership regarding work quality and a commitment to continuous improvement, demonstrated through independent project management.
