Position Overview

Join the dedicated Culinary Service Team at West Boylston Nursing Home Inc, where delivering a remarkable dining experience for our residents is our top priority. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position ranges from $15 to $17.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and distribute essential supplies to various floors.
  • Assist in the assembly of meal trays and ensure timely delivery to nursing or dining areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness as per the scheduled tasks.
  • Efficiently organize and store all incoming food and supply deliveries.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Serve meals to residents in the dining area.
  • Participate in mandatory in-service training sessions.
  • Manage the PM snack cart and AM continental breakfast service as required.
  • Operate the dishwasher following proper sanitation protocols.
Position Details:

Reporting Structure: This position reports to the Dining Service Director/Manager or the Cook in their absence.

Educational Requirements: Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Expectations:
  • Accurate assembly of meal trays.
  • Effective time management to complete assigned tasks.
  • Adherence to departmental protocols regarding sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
  • Collaboration as a supportive team member.
