Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Professional - Radiologic Technologist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in performing primary diagnostic examinations, identifying anatomical orientation on images, and ensuring proper file identification. The successful candidate will also be responsible for greeting patients, obtaining their medical history, and entering relevant information into our computer system.

  • Perform x-rays at optimal quality to provide accurate diagnostic results.">
  • Demonstrate patient care and protect patients from excessive radiation while maintaining a tranquil environment.">
  • Provide coverage as needed, including call-outs or extended patient schedules.">
  • Instruct and mentor new hires to ensure seamless integration into our team.">
  • Maintain compliance with standards of care, facility requirements, and ARRT Standards of Ethics.">
  • Review examinations for technical accuracy and present completed exams to radiologists.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Education

  • ">
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiography, Radiation Therapy, or Nuclear Medicine.">
  • ARRT certification is required.">
  • At least 1+ year of experience as a general Radiologic Technologist.">

Compensation

">

The hourly range for this position is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour, based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and more. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws applicable in New York.
