Overview

The primary objective of this role is to ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework for National Security computing environments as established by authoritative guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of classified Information Systems to uphold adherence to established security protocols.
  • Facilitate audit interviews, document findings, and assist in developing corrective action plans for any identified discrepancies.
  • Support the verification of laboratory-wide information security standards and provide training to ensure compliance across all information systems.
  • Assist in confirming that classified systems meet the necessary Risk Management Framework requirements.
  • Engage in the daily operations of the Communications Security Program in alignment with governmental mandates.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in auditing various operating systems and networks.
  • Experience in industrial security or a related field.
  • Technical proficiency in configuring security settings for Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Possession of a DoD IAT Level II compliant Certification is required.
  • Ongoing compliance with IAT Level II certification is mandatory during employment.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and will undergo a government security investigation to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility for immediate access to classified information as required for the position.
  • Five years of experience in information security within a National Security computing environment.
  • Three years of experience with the Risk Management Framework methodology.
  • Experience with security audits of information systems.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools such as ArcSight, Splunk, or Wireshark.
  • Experience with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools.
  • Knowledge of STIG/SRG compliance configurations.

Salary Range

$67,128 - $88,914+/negotiable based on qualifications.
