Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Pharmacist to join our esteemed team at Aspirus Stevens Point. This role is pivotal in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care within an inpatient setting.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certification: Valid WI Pharmacist License
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage a pharmacist role at Aspirus Stevens Point
  • Work a guaranteed 40 hours per week
  • Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations, including both inpatient and outpatient IV therapies, unit dose medications, and outpatient chemotherapy
  • Handle an inpatient census typically ranging from 30 to 40 patients
  • Provide pharmaceutical care across various departments including Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, and Emergency Department
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an inpatient hospital environment
  • Proficient in Epic charting
  • Demonstrates resilience, strong work ethic, and adaptability
  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
Work Schedule
  • Shift: 8 days from 07:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Weekend Commitment: Every 5th weekend
  • Holiday Requirements: None
Unit Specific Skills

Ideal candidates will possess the ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities within a central inpatient pharmacy setting, including:

  • Verifying EPIC orders
  • Reviewing technician work
  • Responding to pharmacist inquiries
