Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
  • Inspecting doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
  • Warning violators of premise rules and regulations
  • Apprehending or expelling individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
  • Reporting any facility issues, such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
  • Requesting emergency personnel for high-risk situations
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields
  • Familiarity with security equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong attention to detail
Work Environment and Salary

You will be based in the Guard Gatehouse in Lido Beach, Sarasota, and receive a competitive hourly salary of $19.
