We are currently looking for a Site Construction Manager (Inspector 4) to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate construction techniques and craftsmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications for roadways, bridges, traffic signals, and airports.
  • Provide expert consultation on project progress and assist in resolving issues.
  • Facilitate training for team members.
  • May operate as the sole inspector on smaller projects or support oversight on larger, more complex construction initiatives.
  • May lead the efforts of both professional and technical staff.
  • Accountable to a licensed professional engineer with full authority over project approvals.
  • Engage with contractors regularly to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in construction inspection. Experience may be accumulated through full-time or prorated part-time roles. Supervisory experience is not required. Relevant educational background or technical training may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
Technical Skills:
  • Familiarity with applicable inspection methods, procedures, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, schematics, blueprints, and maps.
  • Proficient in performing calculations related to material and labor estimates, expenses, and engineering data.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Qualities:
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Possession of ACI Field, TxAPA 1B, SB102 certifications or the ability to obtain them within six months.
