We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Oakland and provide expert-level support across various areas, including budgeting, finance, payroll, and treasury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile reported data with the general ledger and address discrepancies.
  • Audit, analyze, and adjust accounts, payroll entries, and inventory records.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and tax filings.
  • Develop financial forecasts, cost estimates, and budget recommendations.
  • Maintain and improve accounting systems, data accuracy, and filing practices.
  • Analyze and summarize budgetary and financial data for management and board review.
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide guidance to clerical staff and lower-level analysts.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external officials.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of progressively responsible professional experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, including three years' experience in the development and use of financial or budgeting systems and reports, financial analysis, and other aspects of accounting.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
