Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and proficient Radiation Oncologist to enhance our esteemed dermatology practice.
As a privately held organization, we are seeking a radiation oncologist to engage in either part-time or full-time capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust foundation in radiation oncology, exceptional communication abilities, and a strong dedication to delivering superior patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose cancer patients, determining the most suitable radiation therapy options (EBT/SRT)
- Formulate and execute personalized treatment strategies for patients, considering their medical background, overall wellness, and specific cancer diagnosis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, physician assistants, and nursing staff, to ensure holistic cancer treatment
- Track patients' progress throughout their treatment journey, modifying treatment plans as required
- Inform patients and their families about the advantages, risks, and possible side effects associated with radiation therapy
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in radiation oncology and engage in continuous professional growth opportunities
- Contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials aimed at advancing the field of radiation oncology
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from a recognized institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology
- Strong clinical expertise and experience in radiation oncology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
