Enrollment Services Counselor II

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Enrollment Services Counselor II to join our team at St. Louis Community College. As a key member of our Enrollment Services department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to current and prospective students.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance to prospective and current students and parents on the admissions and/or student aid and/or enrollment services process
- Evaluate credentials on students' applications to determine eligibility for admission, financial assistance, veteran services, or visa documentation
- Utilize the systems to assist students in making a seamless transition from admissions to registration
- Serves as the primary counselor for a working caseload of students
- Assist and Advise students on the application process, such as requirements of transcripts, acceptable documents to verify residency for tuition purposes; add/drop procedures; graduation information; the financial aid process and requirements, including FAFSA submittal, verification documents, sources of aid and associated responsibilities, acceptance, and deferment of aid; and payment of tuition
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and over three (3) years of relevant full-time experience. Or an internal candidate with an Associate degree or equivalent and 2-4 years of experience in higher education working in Enrollment services or Student affairs and the willingness to learn and preform the job
- All employees must earn the credential for NASFAA verification within their first year of employment. Must possess good communication skills be attentive to details and demonstrate competent computer skills
- Knowledge of Banner, CRM, Enrollment Services
