Position Overview:
As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients experiencing critical health issues. Your expertise will be vital in managing emergency situations and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for patients in the ED.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Requirements:
- Valid GA nursing license or compact license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS, NIH, and TNCC.
- Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
- Familiarity with ventilated patients and triage processes is advantageous.

Work Schedule:
- Shifts: 12 hours, nights (7p-7a), 36 hours per week.
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend (Friday to Sunday).

Additional Information:
- Floating to a COVID unit may be required.
- This role is suitable for first-time travelers, although experience is preferred.
