Recreation Therapist

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in creating and leading recreational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recreational programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities
- Lead group and individual activities that promote socialization, physical activity, and skill-building
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Assess client needs and preferences to design tailored recreational programs
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, or Art Therapy
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Recreation Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist, Dance Therapist, or Art Therapist
- Valid California driver's license
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the past five years, with at least one year of full-time experience in a client activities program in a healthcare setting
