Job Title: Per Diem Veterinarian

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Per Diem Veterinarian to join our team at Bellerose Animal Hospital. As a Per Diem Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working closely with our experienced veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine animals and diagnose illnesses and injuries
  • Perform surgeries, including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic procedures
  • Prescribe medication and provide guidance on animal nutrition and preventive healthcare
  • Advise pet owners on the best course of treatment and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Experience conducting various types of surgeries, vaccinations, and health checks on animals
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain medical terms in simple language
  • Availability to take evening or weekend shifts in cases of emergency
