We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our team at Adtalem Global Education. As a Clinical Faculty, you will be responsible for implementing our college's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the college, community, health system, and profession.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the college's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the college, community, health system, and profession.
- Teach and mentor nursing students in a clinical setting, providing direct supervision and evaluation of their performance.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
- Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching assignments.
- Keep course coordinators informed of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
- An unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Texas.
- At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites.
- Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
- Genuine passion for nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
- Exceptional subject matter expertise with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to serve students and colleagues with passion, respect, and care.
- Operate with a sense of responsibility and purpose with the desire to enrich colleagues, students, and the broader community.
The expected compensation rate for this position is between $560 per assignment to $7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course. Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law.
