Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Administer immunizations and provide education to patients on proper use and management of medications.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians on duty, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient charges, and inventory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy practice, with a focus on patient care and services.
  • Active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida.
  • Certification to administer immunizations in Florida.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PharmD degree.
  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy setting.
