Tact Staff is actively seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Medical Surgical for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.
Job Details & Requirements- Specialty: Med Surg

- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours
- Employment Type: Travel
This role involves working in a Medical Unit with an ASAP start. The schedule typically includes three 12-hour shifts per week, with the potential to flex to four shifts if necessary. Night shifts are from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekdays and every other weekend. There may be a requirement to float to Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), or Psychiatric Unit if needed. Please note that holiday scheduling cannot guarantee blocked requests.
Essential Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to count intervals and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.
- Typical patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:6.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
- Scrubs required: grape purple.
All candidates must include a Qualivis Cover Sheet and a current NURSYS report with their profile. Any requests for time off must be clearly stated.
