We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontracts Administrator to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for managing subcontract agreements, identifying and negotiating risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Prepare and issue subcontract agreements, including moderate to high complexity contracts
• Ensure all procurement actions are properly documented, reviewed, and approved
• Identify and negotiate risks in terms and conditions, including price, delivery, quality, and performance requirements
• Work with management to address all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement support, commodity business plans, market trends assessment, pricing, and product availability
• Develop and implement strategies to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement and supply chain management

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Fully proficient knowledge of procurement practices and principles, including quality processes, counterfeit parts, and other compliance requirements
• Strong knowledge in assigned commodities and advanced decision-making skills
• Solid analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Possess strong business acumen enabling the candidate to partner Supply Chain with the Line of Business
• Demonstrate ability to establish and grow strong relationships
• Solid leadership and team building skills
• International subcontracting experience is valued
• Breadth of experience with ability to apply to the business as-needed
• Track-record of recognized performance excellence (employer or customer) preferred
• Strong communication skills (includes formal correspondence)
• Ability to travel in support of the business needs
