Job Description

**About the Role**

Pkaza is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team of experts in critical facilities design. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for data centers and other critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for data centers and other critical facilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets client requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in data center design
  • PE or EIT certification a plus
  • LEED certification a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with mechanical systems, including HVAC, CFD, boilers, chillers, pumps, CRAC/CRAH units, air handling units, etc.
  • Equipment sizing and calculations
  • Experience reviewing work in REVIT; Trane Trace or IES VE Energy Modeling software a plus
  • Familiarity with the design process of building systems for mission-critical projects or healthcare/hospital required
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
