Responsibilities:- Case Management: Day-to-day handling of cases from filing to trial, including reviewing and drafting documents, conducting research, and preparing for trial.
- Litigation Team Leadership: Providing guidance and leadership to the litigation team, including mentoring and training junior attorneys.
- Depositions and Trials: Taking depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts, and preparing for and conducting trials.
- Document Review and Drafting: Reviewing and drafting documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Settlement Negotiations: Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients.
- Post-Trial Motions: Preparing and filing post-trial motions, including motions for new trial and appeals.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a strong track record of success in trial and settlement negotiations.
- Education: A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Skills: Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Personal Qualities: A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
