Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary:
As a Cath/EP Tech at Med Career Solutions, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab. Your expertise will be essential in helping patients navigate complex medical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the Cath/EP Lab
• Serve as a subject matter expert on all invasive procedures, preparing patients according to policy
• Circulate, monitor patients during Cath Lab procedures, and perform sterile scrub procedures for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, and other cardiac procedures
• Manage stocking and documentation of supplies, patient billing, and coding of procedures

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associate degree preferred
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required
• Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification required
• 1 year of experience (new graduates not considered)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay rates up to $48.93/hr (based on experience)
• Shift differentials: nights $3.50/hr, weekends $6/hr
