Position Overview

Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district to fill a contract School Sign Language Interpreter position.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Sign Language Interpretation and a passion for working with students with diverse needs.


Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality Sign Language Interpretation services to students in Kindergarten to High School.
  2. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, families, and school staff.
  4. Stay up-to-date with best practices in Sign Language Interpretation and special education.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have at least 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Sign Language Interpreter within the last 3 years.
  • Hold a valid School Sign Language Interpreter credential/license or be in the process of obtaining one in the state of practice.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire.
