Job Title: Stroke Quality Improvement Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Quality Improvement Nurse to join our team at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. As a key member of our Comprehensive Stroke Center, you will play a vital role in optimizing stroke patient outcomes and improving the quality of care we provide.

Responsibilities:
  • Data analysis and abstraction to identify areas for quality improvement
  • Data entry into the stroke database to track patient outcomes and identify trends
  • Coordination of patient care to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes
  • Participation in quality improvement projects to drive change and improve patient care
  • Participation in community outreach and education to promote stroke awareness and prevention
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license
  • BLS CPR certification
  • 3 years of acute care RN experience, with stroke and/or neurology experience preferred
  • Must be well-organized and highly detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
