Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Optimization: Spearhead initiatives to enhance 3D assets and shaders for optimal performance across diverse platforms.
  • Content Pipeline Improvement: Innovate and enhance the content pipeline to facilitate the efficient creation and integration of assets.
  • Tool Development: Create and implement tools that boost productivity for the art and design teams.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: Partner closely with artists, engineers, and designers to address technical challenges and ensure exceptional visual quality.
  • Guidance and Mentorship: Offer support and mentorship to junior technical artists, nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement and learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Art, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience as a technical artist within the gaming sector, particularly with AAA titles.
  • Proficient in game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#).
  • Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of 3D art, shaders, and performance enhancement.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, with a dedication to advancing the frontiers of game visuals.

Compensation:

Salary: $100,500 to $125,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
