Production Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Production Machine Operator to join our team at Alleima Precision Tube in Scottdale, PA, USA.

As a Production Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor. Your duties will include measuring and material transportation, as well as maintaining and cleaning your workstation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery and material handling equipment on the production floor
• Measure and transport materials
• Maintain and clean your workstation
• Inspect machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools
• Raise and report issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations
• Follow established procedures for operating various conventional and/or specialized manufacturing processes
• Select and measure raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing
• Under general direction, responsible for the setup, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes
• Comply with safety and housekeeping (5S) requirements
• Ensure quality of the tubes, productivity with number of parts produced per hour, and compliance with production procedures and instructions
• Conduct quality control of parts and identify defects

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
• Dependability and safety record
• Able to learn on the job
• Able to work Second shift (3:00PM to 11:00PM), and/or Night shift (11:00 PM to 7:00AM)
• Respect and encourage safety, wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform physical tasks
