Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Home Health Specialist. As an Occupational Therapist with Therapy On Wheels, Inc., you will have the opportunity to work with patients in their own homes, providing personalized therapy services to address their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients in their homes, focusing on improving their functional abilities and promoting independence.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
