Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. As a Nursing Float, you will have the opportunity to work in various medical settings, including Med Surg, IMCU, and ICU units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, direct, communicate, and document the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates by adhering to established standards of care and hospital policies.
- Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, Powers Health policies, and the mission and philosophy of CHS.
- Support the well-being of the community by providing compassionate care and demonstrating the values of dignity, quality, and stewardship.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- 2 years of bedside nursing experience required.
- Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
- BSN preferred.
- Obtain and maintain current certification (ACLS) as required in specialty areas (Critical Care).
- Obtain and maintain current CPR.
