Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited perfusion program along with ABCP and BLS certifications.
  • Proficiency in operating various heart-lung machines, centrifugal pumps, implantable ventricular assist devices, ECMO, and anticoagulation monitoring systems.
  • Understanding of the human body's blood components and plasma makeup.
  • Capability to learn and implement JCAHO, CDC, and AABB standards and protocols, along with knowledge of sterile practices in patient care delivery.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and the physical ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 350 lbs.
