Position Overview:
Our client is on the lookout for a meticulous and highly organized individual to fill the role of Director of Scheduling. This position is integral to a boutique cost management firm operating within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sector. The firm is celebrated for its exemplary work on significant projects and seeks a candidate with your specialized skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive schedules from initial concepts through to project completion.
- Engage in federal and public sector architectural and engineering design projects.
- Collaborate closely with the project management team to foster growth and leadership development.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience in construction scheduling, particularly with Primavera P6 software.
- Proven expertise in Earned Value Management, time-impact analysis, and managing delay claims.
- Experience with MTA agencies and railroad projects is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to generate both simple and complex analytical reports related to scheduling.
- Familiarity with Power Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred.
- Strong comprehension of drawings and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of construction practices and methodologies.
- Preferred certifications include AACE in planning and scheduling or PMP Certification.
