Job Description

This full-time position is for a skilled Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team at our McKinney, TX location. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in our fleet of diesel vehicles, ensuring they're safe and in good working condition.

As a Diesel Technician - Fleet Mechanic, you'll work independently and as part of a team to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on our vehicles. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all relevant Federal, State, and local guidelines and regulations.

We're looking for a skilled and experienced mechanic with at least five years of experience in heavy truck fleet repair. You'll need to have strong diagnostic and electrical skills, as well as technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment. ASE certification is desirable but not required.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy truck fleet repair
  • Diagnostic, electrical, and AC skills are essential
  • Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment is required
  • Previous fleet experience and familiarity with diesel and gasoline systems
  • Ability to use good judgment and decision-making skills
  • Valid applicable state license (CDL preferred)
