About the Role:

The Early Intervention Specialist - Speech Therapist will work with families and children to identify and address communication and speech needs. You will be part of a transdisciplinary team that provides comprehensive support to eligible infants and toddlers.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with families and other team members to develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) based on family-identified priorities
  • Provide coaching model-based intervention to integrate developmental activities into daily routines
  • Complete documentation for accountability, compliance, billing, data entry, and communication with other providers
  • Participate in team evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and functional developmental strengths/challenges
  • Support Rainbows United Inc.'s mission, goals, and Part C Employee expectations

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required
  • Current Kansas License in Speech/Language Pathology required
  • American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience working with children with special needs preferred
