IT Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to lead our Information Technology Department at Cibola General Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, establishing policies and procedures, and directing staff to ensure the effective delivery of IT services.

• Develop and implement IT strategies to support hospital operations and goals.
• Manage and supervise IT staff, including training, performance evaluations, and personnel actions.
• Develop and recommend department budgets and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve hospital operations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronically protected health information.
• Perform contract negotiations with vendors and maintain relationships with IT partners.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations, including security, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of IT and apply this knowledge to improve hospital operations.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of IT management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, systems, data communications, and major software packages.
• Experience with Active Directory and HMS Clinical Systems.

• Ability to stand, walk, or view a computer screen for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods.
