About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cardio is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, and pneumonia.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and peak flow measurements.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic life support certification.
