Job Title: Service Desk Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As a Service Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to service desk phone, email, and automated request queues
  • Provide technical support and customer service to users, promoting and escalating problems, incidents, and requested action items
  • Manage level 1 service requests from receipt to resolution, including receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end-user requests
  • Answer calls or email contacts within the required service level time frame, triage requests to ensure accurate transfers and escalation, and track open tickets and monitor ticket progress
  • Follow escalation and paging procedures, provide support and service to end-users, and seek to resolve as many calls as possible at level 1
Requirements:
  • Service Desk, Help Desk, Helpdesk experience
  • Strong technical skills, including Windows 7, Windows 10, Active Directory, and ticketing systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
